Linin Park is a not-metal band coming from California. Formed in 1996 and since then sold over 50 million albums. Some successes include two Grammy Awards.The first mainstream success they achieved in 2000, with the debut album, Hybrid Theory.The next studio album, Meteora, reached the Billboard 200 and was followed by a world tour.Linkin Park is known for adapting metal genre not in the mainstream area. Among their hit songs include "In The End" "Crawling", "Numb" and "What I've Done."There are also several collaborations, such as Jay-Z. Latest album, Minutes to Midnight, was released in May 2007 and plan represents a new chapter on music. The album sold 625,000 copies since the first week.

The name is an abbreviation for Linkin Park's Licoln Park, located in Santa Monica.Hybrid Theory has sold over five million copies and was nominated as best-selling album in 2001.Later, parts of the album have appeared on movie soundtracks Dracula 2000, Little Nicky and Valentine.Hybrid Theory was nominated for three Grammys.In October 2003, Linkin Park came to be sold over three million copies.Linin Park in 2006 have returned to work on new material.To produce the album, the band chose Rick Rubin.
