 Bassist Joey DeMaio was working as a technician for Black Sabbath, during which he met guitarist Ross the Boss.They recruited him singer Eric Adams, and then drummer Donny Hamzik.Their debut album, entitled Battle Hymns appeared in 1982. This material is included on Part Dark Avenger, including a thorough narrative belonging to Orson Welles.Drummer Scott Columbus joined those of Manowar for the second album, Into Glory Ride. His technique was so fast and violent that it destroyed every time drummer drums unintentionally.A year later, in 1984 the album is followed by the other two materials, Hail to England and Sign Of The Hammer.Latest album is titled Manowar Gods of War and appeared in early 2007,and shortly followed by a live material, titled Gods of War Live.
